A jellyfish is an underwater invertebrate that belongs to the family phylum Cnidaria. Jellyfish are known for their stinging tentacles and umbrella-like bells. Jellyfish live all over the world and can often be seen laying dead on beaches. Jellyfish are commonly seen dead on beaches and swimming in the ocean. Although many creatures can be harmed by the jellyfish's deadly sting some marine animals have special coatings in their mouth and throat so they can eat these creatures.
